CEC announced the Final Results for Municipal Mayor

Tuesday, 31 October 2017 – Central Election Commission Announced Final Results for Municipal Mayors of Local Election held on October 22, 2017.
Based on these results, CEC President Valdete Daka announced that the second round of Mayoral Elections will be held on 19 November in 19 municipalities (Gjakova, Gjilan, Dragash, Istog, Kaçanik, Klina, Kamenica, South Mitrovica, Obiliq, Rahovec, Podujeva, Prishtina, Prizren, Shtime, Suhareka, Ferizaj, Vushtrri, Malisheva and Kllokot).

President Daka informed that the CEC announces these results after the confirmations received by the Election Panel on Appeals and Complaints as well as by the Supreme Court.

The number of citizens eligible to vote in this round is 1 million 353 thousand and 613 voters, while the number of polling centers is 614 with a total of 1 thousand and 777 polling stations.

Also, President of CEC announced that starting from the moment of announcement, political entities and candidates (only from municipal mayor elections) can submit their complaints to the Election Panel Appeals and Complaints within 24 hours.
