By Mail Voting ends on 5th of October

Prishtina, 20 September – Central Election Commission held the next meeting chaired by president, Valdete Daka.

In this meeting it was discussed about By Mail Voting, which has started in 19 September. Central Election Commission informs all successfully registered applicants that By Mail Voting ends on 5th of October. Therefore, ballots must be received by Central Election Commission by 5th of October 2019 the latest.

In this meeting, Central Election Commission issued a decision for the number of ballots that will be printed for early elections for Assembly of Republic of Kosovo taking place on 6 October 2019. Pursuant to the decision of CEC based on the final voters list the number of voters is 1,937.868, meanwhile CEC has decided to print 1,801.800 ballots therefore 136,068 or 7.02% less ballots than voters.
