The Ambassador of the United Kingdom visited the CEC

New Ambassador of the United Kingdom, Nicholas Abbott visited Central Election Commission and was hosted by president Valdete Daka.

President Daka congratulated Mr. Abbott for his new job in Kosovo, wishing him success in his work. 

Speaker Daka briefed Ambassador Abbott on the preparations being done by the Central Election Commission in organizing these early elections, expressing the institution’s commitment to carrying out its constitutional and legal duties.

British Ambassador Abbott emphasized the UK Embassy’s support for implementing free, fair, inclusive and democratic elections without pressure and intimidation.
