Second Conference – CEC: By 11:00 a.m. 8.2% of voters cast their ballots

Pristina, 17 October 2021, 11:00 – The Central Election Commission held the second conference on the day of the Local Elections in the Republic of Kosovo.
The CEC Chairman, Kreshnik Radoniqi announced that based on the information of the Municipal Election Commissions, the voting process is proceeding normally and no incident has been reported that would damage the election process.
“According to preliminary data that we have received from about 98% of polling stations, the number of citizens with the right to vote who have voted until 11:00 is 8.2% or about 152 thousand voters out of 1,885,448 voters. Until the same time, in the Local Elections 2017, 195,473 or 10.34% of the voters had voted “, said Radoniqi.
