Election Day – 6 October 2019

Today in Republic of Kosovo, early elections for Assembly of Republic of Kosovo are taking place.

These are seventh elections for the Assembly of Kosovo.

CEC has certified 25 political entities (20 political parties; 4 coalitions and 1 independent candidate) for participation in these elections with a total of 1 067 candidates for deputies (F 343; M 724).

In these elections the number of citizens with the right to vote is 1 million 937 thousand and 868 voters, meanwhile the number of polling centers is 895 with a total of 2 547 polling stations.

Central Election Commission has planned to conduct press conferences during the day to inform about the voter turnout and progress of the process, at 80:00; 11:30; 15:30; 19:30 and about the conference where the preliminary results will be published CEC will inform later on.
