CEC limits the expenditures of political entities for the electoral campaign in Podujeva

Prishtiaë, 11 February 2020 – The Central Election Commission held a meeting chaired by a member of the CEC, mr. Alim Rama.

At this meeting, the CEC issued a decision to limit the election campaign spending for political entities that will participate in the extraordinary elections for the mayor of Podujeva.

Through this decision, the Central Election Commission determines the upper limit of election campaign spending for political entities that will be certified to participate in these elections, in the amount of: 43 thousand 433 euro. This limitation is based on Election Regulation no. 12/2013, under which the campaign spending limit will be 0.5 euros per registered voter. According to the inconclusive civil registry list, the number of voters in the municipality of Podujeva is: 86,866 registered voters.
